A first, but not the last!

I had the pleasure of being asked to document a family's return to Smith Mountain Lake over the summer. The Wood family came to the area a number of years ago when the girls where young, spending time swimming in the lake and enjoying the local nature. Brittany reached out to me and asked me to capture their return, but with a new generation. Super touched to have been contacted by someone out of state. It made the session extra special for me. Really hope they decide to come back to our little lake and continue the tradition. Praying they are not the last out-of-state clients! Plus, it was a super cute idea to capture the memories at their Airbnb.

If you've ever thought about booking a photographer while on vacation, let this be your sign. It's a wonderful chance to solidify the memories and put beautiful artwork on your walls.

Huge thanks to the Travis + Wood Families on trusting me to document your tribes. Y'all have a sweet spot in my heart.
